The appointee will manage cost and budget and assure SHE and statutory compliance as well as technical plant integrity and reliability.

To be successful, candidates need a BSc, BTech, BEngineering Mechanical Engineering or National Diploma, backed by 3-5 years’ specialist mechanical engineering and management experience. 1-2 years’ project management experience is further required while 2-3 years’ sugar milling experience would be advantageous. Computer literacy (MS Office) and knowledge of gearboxes, conveyors, pumps, fans, steam turbines and boilers are essential. SAP skills would be beneficial. Knowledge of the OHS Act and performance management skills complete the profile.
This opportunity exists at either our Komati or Malalane Mills (station to be confirmed).
