We have operational and project management experience world-wide with specifi c interest in Africa, Central/South America and the Caribbean, Asia Pacifi c and the Middle East. We now have a vacancy for a Factory Construction Manager for a new sugar factory under development for a client in East Java, Indonesia.

Reporting to the Factory Development Manager, the main responsibilities of the Factory Construction Manager are to supervise and oversee all site-based construction activity, safety and materials; to monitor contractors’ performance, progress and quality and to act for and on behalf of the Owner for all site works.

To be successful, candidates must possess:

• A fi rst qualifi cation in Engineering with at least fi ve to ten years’ experience in construction management of large scale process plant projects.
• Experience in civil, mechanical, electrical and instrument installation.
• Capability of managing a large construction site with designers, equipment suppliers and construction contractors from a number of different countries and with multiple activities in progress.
